Lancashire Sailors at the 2008 NSSA Match racing

Over the weekend 19th 20th April Lancashire Team members Sam Greensmith and Tom Haslam helped their team to 4th, narrowly missing out on the medals at the NSSA Match Racing championships which took place at Queen Mary SC.

Lancashire/Kings were one of the unseeded teams going into the event, meaning none of the team members had competed at a match racing competition before so they all did well to qualify into the Gold fleet and then go onto finish fourth.

Sam and Tom would especially like to thank George Cooke, Alex Mcculloch, Henry Pritchard and Max Darke from Kings School for making it such a fun and successfull weekend.
